It's been a while since I showed you what I'm buying in the stores - mainly because for the past few months I've been shopping on Tuesdays which is the last day of sales in the stores! So by the time I find good deals, they aren't available to you anymore! So I'm posting this thinking it might help someone out. These are just a few good deals I found today at three local stores.

Why are the Register Rewards important? You can use them at Lowes Foods to take money off your total order. I've done it several times. The managers know this even if the cashier seems unsure. If I took all my RR to Lowes Foods and purchase $12 worth of groceries, and give them all my RR I would pay just $0.50 out of pocket for my groceries. And all these items are great for donation if you can't use them personally!

Post-Halloween Hangover

Any good couponer knows when to hit the stores - the day after any holiday, right? Now, many times I will wait until the stuff is 75% off, but with Halloween you gotta hit the stores the day after, when it's just 50% off, in order to get anything good! I went shopping today and got an alarming amount of candy. I cringe at the amount of money I blew today, but I also know it's going to a good cause. Hah! We rarely buy candy or eat any kind of dessert foods, so I don't feel too guilty about my little escapade!! If you read my blog a few days ago, you saw where I posted that the Rite Aid on Highway 5 was going out of business and had everything marked down to 75% off. Hey everyone,

I know this is really late notice. I never blogged about it because I kept forgetting. The Rite Aid on Hwy 5 is closing their store and everything is 75% off. If you need candy, makeup, hair coloring kits, or picture frames you are in business!!! Everything else is pretty much gone. I got some makeup to sell on Ebay and I got candy last week, and a nightlight for Hunter's room (so I can see in the middle of the night!) for really great prices. You can still use coupons on these items so the makeup will be especially great to check out if you're that way! Let me know what deals you find!
