Rumor has it that Harris Teeter is doing a round of Super Doubles from 5/19 through 5/25! Get your coupons ready! Anyone else heard confirmation? I have from a couple of places but I hate to get people's hopes up and it not be true.
Its true and its been confirmed on many sites & forums I follow. I'm particularly looking forward to your list of deals & coupon matchups b/c we use the same Harris teeter! :) I used your list a dew times during the last triples they did at the beginning of the month.
Yay! Good to know! I will definitely do the matchups list again now that I know a few people were able to make use of it last time. I'm so glad some people are actually reading this blog! Haha!
Yes I noticed you really don't have any comments on this blog so I've made a mental reminder to let you know how I much I do appreciate it. I figured you were probably wondering if anyone actually reads it as I did when I ran a blog a while back. The only commenters I had was spam :/ But anyway, yes I love this site and you even got me into "dumpster diving." I go every every week now and load up on coupons. I have a question tho, how do you store all those coupons? I don't clip, I just keep the inserts and clip as needed. So how do you organize yours? With the volume I have now, I've outgrown every binder imaginable.
Just curious and thanks again for all your hard work!
Actually, sadly, my favorite spot to dumpster dive has closed due to curbside recycling (Aberdeen). So I don't have near the amount of coupons that I used to, but my mom and church members give me lots of duplicates still!
I have one 3" binder filled with trading cards (which may have been what you outgrew) but anytime I get overwhelmed with clipping, I simply put the entire insert in another folder. That way when I know I need an Ivory coupon, for example, I can find which insert to look in if it's not in my binder. I certainly don't have time to clip and sort all my coupons every day so this makes it less stressful for me.
It sounds like that may be what you're doing. If that's not working for you, you could use an accordion folder to organize by expiration date - of course then you'd have to clip all the coupons which you may not have time for. But that way if you knew you needed a coupon you could find out when it expires (I love http://www.coupontom.com) and look in that pocket of the accordion folder. I've even heard of people using photo albums but I don't think they hold as many coupons as binders.
I hope you find a way to organize them so that it's easy and not overwhelming. That's when people give up on coupons, which is why I have to force myself NOT to clip every one. Otherwise it would be way too much stress!
Let me know if you find something that really works for you! Thanks for the comment! Sorry I didn't really have any bright ideas!
