Right now, all shoes are shipping FREE when you order online. There is also a coupon you can use at checkout - TEN2YOU which will take $10 off your order of $10 or more. When you look around the website you can find tons of shoes for under $20, which you can get and then subtract $10 with the coupon plus have free shipping. I thought it sounded to be too good to be true. Well, it was and it wasn't.
First of all, the JCP website (it turns out) is notorious for saying they have items in stock and they actually don't. So I quickly found a pair of shoes (slippers!) I loved only to go through checkout and find out that they were out of stock. That then happened about ten more times. Finally I just started adding shoes to the cart and then checking them all at once. It was a hassle. It turned out that none of the shoes in my size that were even remotely cute were still in stock. So I started rummaging through shoes for Brianna. FINALLY I found a pair in size 5 (she wears size 4 right now) that definitely weren't my first choice but were still snazzy.
They were $24.00 (I cannot believe people actually pay $24 for children's shoes.... sorry if you are one of those people) on sale for $12.99. Minus the $10.00 coupon code and enter the free shipping - shoes for $3.22!! They came yesterday and everything was in perfect condition.
Another sort of bad thing about this though - when I picked these shoes out and placed my order, the whole way through it kept saying "Your actual total will reflect at the end of this order" and so forth. When I got through with the order it still showed the shoes as $24.00 even though they were clearly marked as clearance. I immediately called JCPenney and they pushed the order through manually which was really easy but it was definitely one extra step I could have done without.
You might want to check it out though - you could get some really cute shoes at a great price!!
