Walmart

This is an example of using "overage" from coupons to make your final out of pocket (OOP) lower. Walmart is the only store in our area that will apply overage from coupons.

Yogurt (x6) - $0.33 each

Mozzarella cheese - $2.08

Tide
(trial size)
RP $0.97. Minus $1.00 coupon. FP - +$0.03

Old Spice body wash
(trial size) (x2)
RP $0.97. Minus $1.00 coupon. FP - +$0.03 each

Secret deodorant
(trial size)
RP $0.97. Minus $1.00 coupon. FP - +$0.03 each

Dial lotion
(trial size)
RP $0.97. Minus $2.00 coupon. FP - +$1.03

Final shopping total - $8.91
OOP - $2.91
Saved - $6.91 (about 78%)

Note: This is based on the subtotal amount so I don't have to re-figure with all the taxes. After taxes I did pay $3.37 out of pocket.
