My Favorite Deals - Through 2/19

Okay, here's the deal. I love finding good grocery deals and sharing them with my (wee tiny) following. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) life gets in the way of these deals being done on Wednesdays when the sales start. I have children, regular life stuff, and I don't get paid for blogging, so it usually is a low priority.

Also, when I do coupon classes I usually tell people to think of the day(s) each week that work out the best for them to do their grocery shopping. I personally like to shop on Mondays or Tuesdays, which means I don't need to know the best deals on Wednesdays, which also makes it less motivating to spend all my free time finding the deals. My week basically goes like this:

Wednesday - the sales ads come out. The sales at our stores locally run from Wednesday to the next Tuesday.

Friday - e-VIC offers come out. These are special prices on items at Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods. I like to see what these are before I go to the store. I've had this happen before - went and bought macaroni and cheese on Thursday, and then on Friday the e-VIC offer comes out and macaroni and cheese is priced at one cent. Okay, that's exaggeration obviously, but unless I REALLY need something I like to wait and see what these special offers are. They will also be good through Tuesday.

Sunday - the paper comes out with new coupons. This is why I like to shop on Mondays or Tuesdays, because then I've had time to sort through my (unorganized) coupons, I've got any e-offers I want, I have new coupons in hand, and I'm not rushing to find the good deals.

All that to say - here are the good deals I've found this week. I hope this helps you. And rumor has it - Super Doubles is happening at Harris Teeter next week - so get prepared!!

All these deals are at Harris Teeter right now. That's my main store to shop at, so I apologize if you were looking for deals at Lowes or Food Lion. There are tons of other great blogs to look at for these deals, or I suggest you head over to A Full Cup. They usually have everything on sale listed there.

I do want to mention that Lowes Foods has strawberries on sale - Buy 1 get 2 free! Stock up by freezing those suckers... if they last that long!

Harris Teeter deals - P.S. These are, in my opinion, the best deals to score this week. You may have different coupons or find better deals that work for you based on your needs. Go for it!
