Harris Teeter (triples)

Okay, this trip was just absolutely doomed. I'm not totally blaming the cashier but she was definitely new, and she didn't want to ask for help because the store was busy. That made me a little nervous in the first place, and sure enough, my numbers got messed up. I don't think they'd be able to fix it at this point so I think it's worth my sanity to just suck it up and not worry about it! The two main things that happened are:

Fiber One brownie bars - were supposed to be $2.50, minus a $0.75 coupon, making them $0.25. Somehow she entered them as a raincheck for $0.97, so after coupon they were free.

Oscar Mayer Select hot dogs - $5.59. Were supposed to be free with my free manufacturer's coupon. She only took off $1.99 though, so I overpaid by $3.60, which is a lot considering my final bill was less than $3.60...

Unfortunately, I should have paid just a few cents, if that, for this shopping trip! But alas, cashiers are only human, and so am I (can't keep checking on everything that's being rung up AND watch the kids!) so these things happen!

Update: I went back to the store and straightened everything out, but after all pricing changes and coupons and all, I didn't owe anything! Now that's the kind of shopping trip I like. :)
