Regular Shopping Trips 4/1 - 4/9

I don't post a lot of my "regular" shopping trips on here. I used to, but I never know if it's helpful or if it bores people. But in a way it kind of holds me accountable to what I'm purchasing, even though it all goes onto my spreadsheet, so I'm going to try this for the month of April. Every week I'm going to post my "everyday" trips to the stores to show you what I'm buying. I'm trying really hard to pay attention to our purchases this month to see where we can improve. This also means for the month of April I'm going to try to get back into the drugstore game a little bit. I used to be huge into Rite Aid and Walgreens, but not for about six months. In fact, when I went to Walgreens today, my favorite cashier Sarah was working and she told me she thought we had moved! Hah!  Okay, on to the list.

Food Lion - 4/1

Stride gum - $0.79
Green seedless grapes - $1.71 (on sale for $1.29/lb)
Yoplait yogurt - On sale for $0.60. Used five $0.40/6 coupons. Took $15 off automatically. Paid $0.03 each.
FL toilet paper - $1.45

Used 2 $2.00 OYNO coupons from previous Yoplait deals.

Walgreens - 4/2

Sunkist - On sale for $1.00. Get back $1.00 in Register Rewards. (We'll be using this at Brianna's birthday party in a few weeks!)
Maxwell House coffee - On sale for $2.99. Used a $1.00 coupon. I also get back a percentage of this purchase in my Endorse account.

Kix cereal - On sale for $1.74. Used a $0.75 coupon. Paid $0.24.
Quaker Perfect Portions - On sale for $1.50. Used a $0.55 coupon. Paid $0.40.
Franks hot sauce - It's $1.49 and I used a $0.75 coupon. Paid nothing.
Kool-Aid Jammers - On sale for $2.00. Got these for Brianna's birthday party. Will receive $1.00 in my Ibotta account.
Capri Sun big juice - It's $1.39 and I'll get $1.00 back in my Ibotta account.
Mentos gum 3-pack - On clearance for $1.29 ($0.43 per pack)
Strawberries (1 lb) - On sale for $2.49

My total spent this week was around $69, but I saved 66% overall, so I'm happy with that. I always tell people to strive to save 50%. Plus, several of these items were used to cook for family members other than my hubby and children, so I feel like these groceries were really put to good use. :)
